Honor Bliss is originally from a small town in Dorset set
in rural southern England. Honor started her modeling career
at the age of 16 when she moved to London to be graced on
the covers of many magazines. Her career as a top international
model soon followed where she graced on covers, editorials,
and companies all over the world such as Vogue, Elle, Tattler,
Marie Claire, Glamour, Figaro, Mondi, Vidal Sassoon, Toni
and Guy, Max Mara and Lycra, to name a few.
Honor
Bliss was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts
in London to study in their prestigious school, which is world
renown for its talent and difficulty to get in. Unfortunately
she was unable to attend a full time program as her modeling
assignments and popular demand in the fashion world took all
her time.
After traveling all over the world, Honor stopped off in Los
Angeles for a modeling assignment and decided to stay for
a few weeks to go out on some commercial auditions. To date
over the last 3 years she has booked an astonishing 24 national
commercials playing various different roles from sexy model
type, innocent bride to a college girl. One of the commercials
did so well that Maxim magazine tracked her down to do an
interview and pictures.
Honor now permanently living in Los Angeles has been studying
with many of the very finest acting coaches such as Janet
Alhanti, Brian Reece, Margie Haber, and Groundlings she also
is currently working with Robert Easton for voice coaching,
dialects, and diction.
Honor’s first small role was for W.B. on “Angel”
playing “the girl” where she is flirtatious and
hits on one of the lead stars “Lesley” who doesn’t
quite get the hint and almost chokes on his pretzel.
Honor has actively been working on many student projects,
one of them being for A.F.I. “One Night it Happened”,
where she played the lead as a urban young girl. A very funny
romantic comedy directed by Gorgina Reidel. The New York Latino
Festival gave Honor great reviews remarking how the audience
admired Honor Bliss and were captivated by her forlorn expressions.
The movie played in festivals across America and continued
onto the Rotterdam film festival all with admiration.
Honor was recently cast in “Pride and Prejudice”
directed by Andrew Black. She plays the role of Anna, Darcy’s
sister, a humble and refined character with a poised and elegant
British accent. The movie is scheduled for release either
this fall or early next year.
Honor has also just finished her first pilot called “Two
Minute Mysteries” playing the lead as an investigator’s
sidekick, a funny and clever character that seems endlessly
to fall in or out of love. The world-renowned actress/director
Mimi Rogers directed the pilot. The pilot is currently being
viewed with almost certainty to be picked up. |
